This Privacy Policy describes how 77SPARX Inc. (“77SPARX,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use PlannerAI (the “Service”). It applies to the desktop application, website, and any associated services.
What We Collect
We collect information you provide to us directly and information generated through your use of the Service. The specific data we hold depends on which features you use.
Information You Provide
This includes anything you submit, enter, upload, or otherwise provide when registering for or using the Service — such as your name, email address, account credentials, tasks, notes, project names, preferences, feedback, and any other content you create or input within PlannerAI.
Usage and Technical Information
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including feature usage, session data, performance metrics, error logs, app version, operating system, and device identifiers. This helps us operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

Payment Information
Billing and payment details are collected and processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing the Service: Operating PlannerAI’s core functionality — task management, AI-driven features, and focus management.
- AI Features & Personalization: Analyzing your tasks, events, and usage patterns to generate smart recommendations and personalize your experience. See the AI & Data Processing section below for full details.
- Product Improvement: Using aggregated and/or anonymized data to improve features, train and refine our AI models, fix bugs, and guide product development.
- Communications & Notifications: Sending you service-related communications through multiple channels, including email, in-app notifications, push notifications, and system notifications (such as macOS notifications). These may include service alerts, product updates, security notices, reminders, and support responses. You can manage your notification preferences in account settings.
- Promoting Our Products: We may use certain information — such as anonymized or hashed identifiers — to promote PlannerAI on third-party platforms. We do not use the content of your tasks, calendar events, or communications for this purpose. PlannerAI itself contains no advertisements.
- Feedback: We may use feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and other communications you submit for support, product improvement, marketing, and other business purposes.
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting and responding to security incidents, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

AI & Data Processing
Artificial intelligence is central to how PlannerAI works. Our AI capabilities power a range of features including, but not limited to, task prioritization, scheduling recommendations, workflow analysis, focus assistance, and other intelligent automations. This section explains how we process your data to deliver these capabilities.
What the AI Accesses
To deliver intelligent features, our AI systems may process information associated with your account — including tasks, events, scheduling data, usage patterns, and other content you provide. The richer the context, the more useful and accurate the AI’s outputs.
Where Processing Happens
All AI processing occurs on our servers — including any calls made to third-party large language model (LLM) service providers. Your device communicates only with our infrastructure; there are no direct calls from the application to any external AI service. All server-to-server communication with AI providers is made over encrypted connections under data processing agreements.
Service Improvement & AI Training
We use aggregated and/or anonymized usage data to improve our product, including to train, evaluate, and refine our AI models. This data is processed in de-identified form and does not identify individual users. We do not use the raw, personally identifiable content of your tasks, calendar events, or communications to train AI models without your separate, explicit consent.
AI Outputs Are Advisory
All AI-generated outputs — priorities, schedules, focus guidance, recommendations — are advisory only. You retain full control over all decisions and actions within the Service. We make no warranty that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your particular circumstances.
Third-Party AI Services. When AI inference involves third-party LLM providers, your data is transmitted only under data processing agreements that prohibit those providers from using your data for their own independent training or commercial purposes.
Screen Activity & Focus Features
Some PlannerAI Focus features use screen activity monitoring to help you stay on task and measure focus sessions. We’ve designed this capability with privacy as a primary constraint, and want to be transparent about exactly how it works.
How Screen Monitoring Works
When a Focus session is active, PlannerAI captures screenshots locally on your device and immediately processes them to generate a text representation of your screen activity. Raw screenshots are never transmitted to our servers and are discarded on your device once processing is complete. The locally generated text representation is then sent to our servers for further analysis to power Focus features.
Sensitive Information Filtering
We make reasonable technical efforts to detect and suppress sensitive content — such as financial account numbers, passwords, and similar categories of sensitive data — before any derived text is transmitted from your device. While we work diligently to make this filtering effective, we cannot guarantee that all sensitive content will be identified and excluded in every circumstance.
Your Control
Screen activity monitoring is only active when you explicitly enable a Focus session. You can pause or stop it at any time. No screenshots are stored on your device beyond the immediate local processing window.
In plain terms. Think of it this way: your device reads your screen and summarizes what’s on it in text form. That summary — not a picture — is what reaches our servers. It’s similar to how a screen reader works: the visual content stays local, and only a text interpretation travels further.
Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party vendors to operate the Service — including cloud infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and AI inference providers. These vendors are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.
Promotional Partners
We may share anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers with advertising platforms solely to promote PlannerAI to potential users on those platforms. We do not share the content of your tasks, calendar events, or personal communications with any advertising partner. PlannerAI itself contains no advertisements.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We will notify you of such requests where legally permitted.
Business Transfers
If 77SPARX is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will endeavor to notify you before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
Protection of Rights
We may share data when necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activity, fraud, or threats to the safety of our users or the public.
With Your Consent
We may share your data in other ways where you have given explicit, informed consent.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service:
- Active accounts: Your data is retained and kept current throughout your subscription.
- After cancellation: Your data is retained for up to 30 days following cancellation to allow you to export or reactivate your account. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted from our active systems.
- Backup systems: Encrypted backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being purged from backup infrastructure.
- Aggregated & anonymized data: De-identified usage and analytics data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
- Legal holds: Some data may be retained longer where required for legal, regulatory, or audit purposes.

Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Technical Safeguards
- Encryption in transit: All data between the app and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Encryption at rest: Stored data is encrypted using AES-256.
- Access controls: Access to user data is restricted to personnel who require it to perform their job functions.
- Local data handling: Raw screenshots captured for Focus features are processed and discarded locally and are never transmitted to our servers.
Vulnerability Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability in PlannerAI, please report it responsibly to [email protected]. We will acknowledge reports within 48 hours and work to resolve valid issues promptly.
Limitations
No security system is impenetrable. While we work diligently to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized parties will never circumvent our security measures. You provide your information at your own risk.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR including access, portability, erasure, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for processing is primarily performance of a contract (providing the Service you’ve subscribed to) and legitimate interests (product improvement and security).
Children’s Privacy
PlannerAI is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. By creating an account, you represent and confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. Please contact us at [email protected] if you believe we have collected information from someone under 18.
International Data Transfers
77SPARX is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access PlannerAI from outside the US — including from the EU, EEA, or UK — your data will be transferred to and processed in the US.
